BRUCE CLEMENT POST SECONDARY ED SCHOLARSHIP

--sponsored by NH Sheep & Wool Growers' Assoc.

--DEADLINE FOR APPS=June 1, 2008

Scholarships of $1000 will be awarded.
Applicants must be NH residents and should be or have been affiliated with the sheep industry or be majoring in a field that will benefit the

COUNTY FARM BUREAU SCHOLARSHIPS

Note: Please contact your County representative directly for current information

 

Carroll County
A $500 scholarship is awarded annually to a student from Carroll County. They must be attending a post secondary institute and pursuing an interest in agriculture (including forestry, aquiculture, environmental science or conservation). Applications must be submitted to Carroll County Farm Bureau by August 15.
The scholarship is awarded in October.

Cheshire County
An annual scholarship of $500 is available to Cheshire County Farm Bureau members or members of their immediate family. Preference will be given to students studying agriculture and returning students. Application deadline is July 1. Coos County
One - $1,000 scholarship is awarded to a Coos County Farm Bureau member. The student's family must have been a NHFB member for the last three years.

Two - $750 scholarships
Scholarships are available to students graduating from any of the county's high schools and furthering their education in agriculture. Applications much be submitted to the county secretary by May 1.

Grafton County
Grafton County awards up to three $1,000 scholarships.
Criteria: Agricultural background, upbringing and pursuing a career in an agricultural related industry. Applicant must be a Grafton County resident.

Hillsboro County
Ben Holt Memorial Scholarship - A $500 scholarship is awarded annually to qualifying students from Hillsborough County. The scholarship is given to a graduating high school senior, undergraduate or continuing education student majoring in agriculture (including pre-veterinary). Merrimack County
Trudy Gay Memorial Scholarship and the "Chip" McNamara Memorial Scholarship Applications must be received by May 1. Scholarship amount varies from year to year.

Rockingham County
Scholarship amount varies from year to year. The scholarships are awarded to Rockingham County students with an interest in studies related to agriculture. Applications must be submitted by March 1.

Scholarship amount varies from year to year.

A $500 scholarship is awarded to graduating seniors of Sullivan County Farm Bureau members (usually given for second term). Preference is given to students studying agriculture or related program.
