FEDERATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS:
The Board of Directors has supervision over all affairs of the Federation. The Board consists of 17 Directors. The officers are the President, First Vice President, two Second Vice Presidents and Treasurer. Officers are elected by the county Farm Bureau delegates each year at the Federation’s annual meeting. The Executive Director, hired by the Board to run the day-to-day affairs of the Federation also acts as the Secretary. In addition to the elected Officers, the Executive Committee is made up of the President of the Associated Women’s organization (elected by the Associated Women) and Chair of the Young Farmer Committee (appointed by the President). An elected representative of each county Farm Bureau, usually the President, rounds out the Board of Directors. At least five county Farm Bureaus must be represented at meetings for the Board to conduct business. The Board sets its own schedule. Currently regular meetings are held the third Thursday in the months of February, April, June, August, October and December. The Executive Committee meets at the call of the President.
